HealthQuest Pool Rules
- Any person showing evidence of any communicable skin disease, sore or inflamed eyes, cold, nasal or ear discharge, or any other communicable disease shall be denied admission.
- Any person with excessive sunburn, open blisters, cuts, or bandages shall be denied admission.
- Do not enter the water if you are experiencing or recovering from diarrhea or have had any signs or symptoms of gastro intestinal (stomach) disease in the past seven days.
- All children in diapers must wear plastic pants with snug fitting elastic waist and leg bands. Do not wash out soiled diapers in the bathing water.
- Children should be encouraged to use the restroom before entering the water. Immediately report any “accidents” you observe in the bathing waters to a lifeguard.
- No animals, except for service animals, shall be allowed in the swimming pool, wading pool, hot tub, or spa area, dressing rooms, or other parts of the enclosure.
- Glass containers shall be prohibited on the pool deck.
- All persons must shower before entering the water.
- Conduct, which endangers the safety and comfort of others, shall be prohibited.
- Persons suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol shall be prohibited from entering the water.
- No running, hitting or disruptive behavior in or around the pool area.
- Swimsuits must be worn at all times. Clothing is not permitted in the pool. Children under 4 years of age must wear aneffective swim diaper.
- Please do not hang on the lane lines, stair railings, diving blocks, and the lifeguard stand.
- Diving platforms are for swim team use only.
- Please do not play with the rescue equipment.
- Please play carefully and absolutely no roughhousing. If you use equipment (diving sticks, kickboards, noodles, etc.) please return them to the appropriate bin.
- DIVING INTO THE SHALLOW WATER IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Please jump feet first into the shallow end of the pool. Diving is permitted only from the deep end of the pool.
- For your safety, no flips, back dives or twists from the edge of the pool.
- Only HQ aquatics approved equipment is permitted in the pool.
- Children under the age of 14 are prohibited from using the Therapy pool. All children 13 and under may sit on the side only (not the steps).
