Frequently Asked Questions
Is Gratuities included on our party package?
We do not add a gratuity to your party invoice; however it is customary to tip your party host. We do ask that you tip in cash directly to your host whenever possible. The amount that you tip your host is strictly up to you. Generally we see in the amount of $10.00 each and up.

What Do I Bring?
You don’t need to bring anything except a camera! However, you are welcome to bring in party hats, blowers, and/or any other desired decorations. Everything must be in ready to go form. We do not provide extra time or rooms for party preparations.

Can I Bring Outside Food?
We DO NOT allow any outside food or beverages. HealthQuest Parties offer many food options that you can select from at an additional charge. Of course, we recognize food allergies and will do our best to accommodate those children. Please speak with your party representative for additional details.

May I bring in my own balloons?
HealthQuest Parties do offer balloons at an additional cost or included in an upgraded party package. Please ask a party sales representative for more information. Your party host will decorate your party room with the balloons that you order through HealthQuest. If you choose to bring in your own balloons, you may do so, however, you (the party parent) will be responsible for decorating the party room with your balloons. Your party host will assist you, providing they have finished setting up the Birthday party as per their checklist. Your balloons must be blown up and ready for your party. We do not provide helium or a room for you to prepare your balloons. In addition, HealthQuest does not provide storage of balloons prior to your party. You will need to bring your balloons with you at the time of your party.

May we bring a piñata to our party?
NO OUTSIDE Piñatas are permitted at HealthQuest. HealthQuest sells many different types of piñatas; please inquire with our party sales representative.

Can I request a party host for my party?
Please feel free to make a request, but we cannot make a guarantee. We do try to accommodate all requests however; due to vacations or days off, the requested host may not be available.

Is there a supervisor or manager on duty during the parties?
The Events/Children’s Birthday Party department always has a Party Supervisor on duty while parties are being facilitated. The supervisors can be found in the kitchen area, party rooms or in the office doing paperwork for the following weekend depending on the party schedules. There is also a Manager on Duty (M.O.D) on site for the entire facility.

Is there available seating and/or tables for the adults?
We provide seating for the children in attendance only. Each party room is supplied with 4 tables and 24 chairs unless a party has confirmed a higher number of children. This is a children’s party and we are providing everything for the children in attendance. Your party host will serve all the children. Parents that remain at the party must serve themselves to allow the party host to concentrate on the children. Custom parties to accommodate children and adults can be scheduled but are priced differently.

Do you charge for siblings attending the birthday party?
We count each child that participates in the party activity. If the number is over 16 then you are billed for each child at a rate of $13.00 per child.

Is extra time available?
The parties at HealthQuest are very interactive and in most cases, very ACTIVE. Therefore, activity time is limited to one hour; and, ½ hour in the refreshment room to enjoy pizza and refreshments. There are some party time slots that may extend the refreshment time at an additional charge, but we cannot add any extra time to the activity portion of the party due to our party schedules.

If we do not serve pizza and there is extra time, can we open our gifts?
As per your party agreement, which is signed at the time of booking and mailed for your signature, we do not allow for the gifts to be opened here. We would like to accommodate all requests however not all parties have the time to open their gifts and if we do allow for one, then we need to allow for all. This would cause a great scheduling problem with our parties. To help with this, we bag all gifts while the children are in their activity to make it easier for you to take them home.

Other Important Reminders:

  • The Ultimate & Supreme party packages must be ordered at the time of booking. We cannot upgrade the party after the booking date
  • Additional Hosts are needed for parties that have a guest count of 20 or more. The Host rate is $40.00 per host. Please read the “Party Additions Pricelist” for how the fees are determined. This is strictly enforced.
  • Should you confirm your party for 20+guests that require the additional Host(s) and less than 20+ attend, you will still be invoiced the extra host fee(s). Please advise us by the Thursday prior to your party to avoid this charge. However, as mentioned above, you will only be billed for those children in attendance over 16.
  • Additional fees apply to parties that go over the included 16 children. The rate is $13.00 per child and is calculated the day of your party. You are not charged for children that do not attend ** You may need to order a larger cake for larger parties. Our cake is ¼ sheet cake that feeds up to 20.
  • You have access to your party room 15 minutes prior to your reserved start time. Final details and set up may still occur up to the start time.
